How do you name animals Zoo Tycoon 2

Click on the animal(s) you want to name. Go to the status bar (indicated by a life symbol.) Find the section that has the default name. Click on that. Now type in the animal's new name. P.S: If you want to name multiple animals, you must do this one at a time.
