What is the fastest way to get gil on final fantasy 10

Equip Rikku's ultimate weapon, I think it's Godhand, and use her in battle. It's got Gillionaire on it, so you get lots of gil. If you don't have it, then just fight a lot of monsters in the Calm Lands or something.
