How do you make a game on roblox

There are so many types of places, it's hard to know what to do. To begin, just create a simple hangout place for you and your friends.

The best way to do this would be in "edit mode". The reason being, you can move the camera freely, unlike build mode. To access it, go to "Roblox Studio" (Located in Start Menu). Go to "file", then select "new". You will end up with an empty place. Click on insert in the game window. Go into the dropdown menu there and select "Terrain". Click one of the baseplates. It will appear in the game window. Use the "resize tool" (Found at the top of the screen) to make the base as big as you want. Now choose the "Lock (Prevent Selection)" tool. Click the baseplate. This will prevent you selecting it by accident.

Now, for the main attraction. You can build it yourself with bricks or get one off free models.
If you do build it yourself, here are some things to consider.

-Anchor things! To do so, select the Anchor (Prevent Movement) tool and click things. Anchored things cannot move or fall apart.

-Be original! Make your own things up! More people see uncopyed places.

-There are many ways to make a good place great. It's up to you to choose how.
