What are signs that your chao will die soon in sonic adventure 2 battle

When you go to the doctor with that chao go to the medical chart, 2nd page, you see how old it is. If it is 5 years old it will die soon. Note: a chao year is three normal hours. If you take good care of it (not hitting it, petting it often, holding it or feeding it fruit) instead of it dying it will leave an egg. This is called reincarnation. Sadly all it's stats will be back to level one. So, you'll have to raise it again.
