Is it illegal to download video game music if you own the game

If the music is ripped off directly from game disk then I would not think so but I may be wrong. If the music was downloaded from the internet then its highly possible that it it illegal, since most of the music are from Original Soundtracks that are released. If you own the OST and you download music that originates from that OST then I assume your fine. If you don't then its illegal, but don't take my word for it. Hopefully someone comes by and improves this answer.
