How do you use cheat engine to crack games

an example to hack cheat engine for a weapon speed hack
1.open CE V.5.3
2.click process list and choose NKSP
3.make a new character (titan)or a lvl 1-6 character
4.set the CE to 4 bytes and exact value
5.equip ur character with a weapon
6.in the value box type in 14 (make sure hex isn't checked)
7.then click first scan
8.let the scan finish after its finished
9.enequip ur weapon
10.then type in 20 in value box (make sure hex isn't checked)
11.click next scan after that
12.it should be left with only 1 address
13.double click the address and it will be at the bottom
14.check the frozen box
15.then change the value
