What is stargate worlds

Stargate Worlds is an upcoming MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game) for Windows developed by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment using the Unreal Engine 3.0. The release date will be the fourth quarter of '09.

The game will revolve around the conflict between the Tau'ri and the Goa'uld in the Milky Way Galaxy. Playable races include the Tau'ri (Humans), Goa'uld, Jaffa and the Asgard. You also must choose an archtype, which is like a job or a class. The playable archtypes are Archeologist, Asgard, Goa'uld, Jaffa, Scientist, Soldier and Commando.

The combat in SGW is said to incorporate elements of first-person shooters.
