What is the history of video games

1959 The first games were actually very basic such as tic-tac-toe. They generally was only avialbile in universities on what was then super computers that even our smallest computerized devices are far superior to.

Then came SpaceWar 1961 in which was the first game to actually put real aspects of gameplay into it. The concept was simple two ships each controlled by a player trying to destroy each other. The game became so widely popular in the university that lines formed just to play it. The game was natrually in black & white.

From then video games became more popular and advanced through time. Eventually making arcade machines, personal computers and then home consoles.
