How many players in Battlefield 3 multiplayer

Battlefield 3 features a single player campaign, a two-player co-operative mode and up to 64 players (PC) or up to 24 players (Consoles) multiplayer mode.

The campaign is limited to only one player at a time.

Co-op allows two players to complete a set of objects together, as a team.

Multiplayer allows a multitude of players to complete against each other.

There are a total of six multiplayer modes currently available, five in the base game. These include Conquest; a Battlefield classic, Rush; a newer mode introduced in Bad Company, Team Deathmatch; a common multiplayer mode that pits two teams against each other, Squad Deathmatch; four 4-player squad battle each other, Squad Rush; a smaller version of Rush with only one squad per side and Conquest Assault; Conquest with a twist.
