What is Dante from DmC

Dante is a half demon (the son of a human woman and the demon general Sparda). His father was the demon who protected humankind by sealing the rest of the demons into another dimension. When Dante was a child his mother was killed by a demon. Since then he acts as a mercenary for hire, only willing to kill demons.
