How do you invite a person to a chat room in imvu

go to your friends list, hover your cursor over the person you want to invite and under their name it should say "Invite" then click it.

unless you mean public room, then click the number above the chat log (it should be above it and to the right) then click the small speech bubble sign to invite them.
