well it was london,england that created "black magic", "witchcraft".It was very famous in england for the spells, candle spells, the moon astrology ect. The holy roman empire did not allow them to cast black magic because they thought they were calling evil spirits to kill people at unexpected death. So the holy roman empire said if anyone who used "magic" will be killed for what they did
