It's not a pie, it's a cake.

"The cake is a lie" is a repeated phrase scrawled on walls in the video game "Portal". In the game the main character wakes up in an experimental robot-run facility of puzzles, and is promised a cake if they get all the way through. "The cake is a lie" is a warning written by past participants.
