How do you apply a team fortress 2 skin

Firstly, download a skin from a website. (Preferably www.fpsbanana.com) Secondly, extract the .rar/.zip file to anywhere you wish. (Preferably somewhere convenient.) Thirdly, grab the 'materials'/'models' folder and paste in into: YourLocalDisk:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\youraccountname\team fortress 2\tf and you're done! Start up Team Fortress 2 and enjoy your skins. P.S They do not work on servers with pure enabled. To check if pure is enabled on a server, type sv_pure in console.
