What games are similar to World of Warcraft

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and Guild Wars both play a lot like World of Warcraft. They are free-to-play meaning that you do not have to pay a monthly subscription to play it like WoW. You might have to pay real money to buy the better gear in-game, or to get credits to do stuff.
