Are there specifically processors for desktop gaming

Yes, there are better processors for desktop gaming. There arent any processors that i know of that were designed for the soul purpose of gaming tho. I was told by a friend that the best processor available on the market right now is a thousand dollars and is suppose to last you a long time.
