How do you play left 4 dead

use your controller and shoot the zombies get to the safe house in each round? duh ! :L

more specific would be...

to use the analog joysticks, one to move another as camera , the D pad to select you medi kit , pain pills and either a pipe bomb or Molotov ( all of which you have to collect using the x button) and your torch (which is always there) The A button to jump (you can't jump over a witch believe me I've tried :L ) The B button to reload ( or wait till you completely out of ammo and it will do it automatically) Y button changes weapon ( you always have 1 small pistol) RT to shoot LT to shove / hit zombies back ( must do that before shooting a boomer) The LB and RB buttons one makes you turn 180 the other makes you crouch ( don't try run when crouching your far too slow) the back button displays you teammates health (which is on your screen anyway) Start button pauses the game where you have many options to eg take a brake if your online or on multiplayer , quit the game or edit other settings.

The aim of the game is basically to get to the end of level ( safe house) alive. Shoot zombies not your team mates, mashine guns are best for first time players or if you are shooting mass waves of common infected. Snipers are good for levels where you are a good distance away from most infected at points. Shot guns are good for special infected such as tanks as they take off most damage , also better acuracy change of getting head shots , but not good if you and your teammates are really close together ( shoots off to the side slightly so you'll probably end up shooting them a bit)
