David Cage - the writer and director - has stated that he has no intention of making a new one. He has nothing more to say on the characters.
His company is now working on a game similar in the fact of story depth and gameplay - "without a world to save or supernatural powers." This game is called Heavy Rain and will be released on the PS3 in February 2010.
