Are saiyans real and can they be created

Seriously what do you think Dragon ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT etc. are a fictional T.V show so there aren't any Saiyans (that have been found) but i guess with all the amazing molecular science modifying genes and DNA it may one day be possible to create a Saiyan.
