How has video games and tv changed over the years

Well if you look around you can see that over the years TV and video games have changed greatly in two ways; graphics and variety. The graphics as you can see have gone from 2 dimensions to the greatly detailed and highly complicated 3 dimensions, and the variety has changed to things like the extremely popular shooter games or the pornographic shows.
