How do you get passed mud bog 3 on wii ice age 2 the meltdown

pretty straight forward really collect all acorns as per normal dont go to far into bog toward the end jump on the big bird to get to the higher platform on the platform near the water fountain there is a small grey rock get off the bird pick it up and place it in the hole next to the water fountain this will then make the fountain bigger
