What is a good weapon on monster hunter freedom 2

SWORD fast blocks and dodge, able to use item while blocking,
DOUBLE SWORD fast does combo, dodge only
LONG SWORD high damage does combo, dodge only
GIANT SWORD high damage charging, block and dodge
HAMMER high damage, can run while charging, dodge only
HUNTING HORN high damage, has all party buffs, dodge only
LANCE blocks and dodge, charging
GUNLANCE blocks and step back, shoots and slice
LIGHT BOWGUN dodge and step back, uses ammo
HEAVY BOWGUN step back, first person sight, uses ammo
BOW dodge and step back, uses ammo, charging


take your pick... beginner finds sword attractive
