How do you get mining points in monster hunter freedom

Mining Points is just another name for Kokoto Points. If you don't know what these are, they are points you can get to upgrade (pretty much) the farm.You get these by buying and sellling items to people in the town. You get the full amount of money and Kokoto Points if you SELL an item(s). You get 10% of the price you paid for an item(s). And finally you get 9% of the price in Kokoto Points if you BUY armor and/or weapons(s). So all you have to do to get them is buy and/or sell stuff!

EDIT: Mining Points are not Kokoto points. Mining Points are upgrades to your mining area which give you access to better ores. I believe Pure Crystal can be gotten occasionally from Mining Point+2. Mining Point upgrades are purchased with Kokoto Points, explained above. Mining Point upgrades become available as you progress through Village Elder quests.
