How do you get hamsters to mate on hamsters 2

Put two hamsters in a cage, and press the partner button on the screen. It will ask if you want to be partners; say yes. You can also go to someone's house and be partners with them. Sometimes a character from the game will come to your house and ask if you want to make his/her hamster and your hamster partners. You can also do multiplayer and have hamsters in the same cage and they can become partners.
