Is playing the video game a sport

Gaming is a sport look at MLG. It is a competitive force going up another competitive force. Now the reason most people think it's not a sport is because there's no contact or movement required. Gaming is a sport whether you want to believe it or not.

No. Sport requires active physical movement. Much as gamers might want you to believe they are engaging in sport because it involves competition and strategy, it does not fit the true definition of sport, which includes "an activity involving physical exertion and skill".
