You need to (while the game is on 'play' mode, if you get me) press Ctrl, Shift, and the little ~ key (it's right above the left Tab key), all of those at the same time.
A little question mark should appear on the middle left screen. Just type in 'gold' on the keyboard and press 'ENTER' you will then receive 500,000 gold coins automatically!
