Does the blackberry storm play games

Yes it does. It comes with two already installed- one a letter/word game (pretty good fun) and the second is yet another version of the standard bat and paddle style game, however it is different using your finger to move the paddle so that adds to the entertainment. I have however not been able so far to find any supported games as of yet... I assume these will follow shortly!!! Yes it does.
