Do video games influence violence

well this is kind of a heated debate. now i for one am a very long time gamer of all types. but mainly violent video games. now, video games are proven to promote violence in "weak minds". it always depends on the person and how much video games are being played at a time. 30 minutes a day for your teenage boy is reasonable. now will video games directly make one violent no. but it will make them want to learn more about what they are playing. such as when someone is play a game that takes place in WWII then they will find themselves curious about what's happening in the game. the next thing you know you are an expert on the subject of WWII warfare and weaponry.
