How do you beat area 6 in star fox 64

First of all, destroy all missiles at Sector Z to get to Area 6. Just breeze thru the level like ya normally do, then pwn the heck out of the boss. THE WEAK POINT WILL BE FLASHING LIGHTS! TO SHOOT THE WEAK POINT, SHOOT IT!
Well, to get at the weak point, go ahead and shewt the arms and the center is that point. Shoot it liek heck.
