What happened between Resident Evil 2 and 3

Basically nothing, they are pretty much in the same time frame. The only real difference is that RE2 deals with Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield while RE3 deals with Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliviera.RE3 also happens a little bit before RE2 but RE2 ends before RE3.So basicly,it happens the same day kinda. --------------- It's just the story of the Racoon City Police Department trying to get out of the zombie infested city.
