How do you play in the forest on endless forest

I know how you feel, I was a rookie at first. This guide will give you almost everything you need to know about endless forest.

What do I do?
You can do a lot of stuff in endless forest, you just have to get used to it.
There are fun glitches, other players to play with, forest magic, and lots of actions. You can use the mouse or arrow keys to move. To walk, you need to push both the up and down keys, to run, you press SHIFT + UP arrow key.

Glitches?

• Sleep Sliding- You can 'sleep slide' by waiting until the game is almost done loading, then you push the up button arrow key, or mouse and point where you want to go. This doesn't ALWAYS work, but its amusing.
• Flying- You can fly by going on top of a hill and run over the edge while pressing H or SPACEBAR to hop. Keep (repeatidely) pressing H or SPACEBAR while in air.

And... that's all I know about glitches.

What is forest magic?

Forest magic is magic you can use to: change someones coat color and or pattern, change or give someone antlers, give someone a mask, and shapeshift someone into a:

Squirrel
Rabbit
Dove
Raven/Crow
Bat

How can I get/use forest magic?

Change/Give someone a coat color- You can change someones coat color by laying down next to a sleeping deer for about 30 seconds, or until you hear some music type stuff.

Change/Give someone a mask- eating mushrooms off of a tree.

Change/Give someone antlers- Rub on a PINE tree and eat the pinecone that falls out. (sometimes a pinecone doesn't fall out)

Shapeshift someone- Lay in a small circle of Mushrooms for 10 minutes without moving mouse or character.

I don't know if this is a glitch or forest magic, but sometimes there are problems with the big mushroom circles and when you lay in it for 10 minutes, you get either bigger or smaller, no matter if you are a fawn or a stag.

Why does forest magic wear off of me as a fawn?

This only happens when you are a fawn. When you grow into an adult deer/stag, it will not wear off.

Saving your appearance.

Press ESC or go to the button to the bottom left and then go to NETWORK. You will see words that say SAVE deer appearance, or LOAD deer appearance. When you are a stag, when you save your appearance, then quit the endless forest, whenever you come back in, you will always have that appearance. You can save any appearance you have and whenever you get off, then come back in to endless forest, you will have that appearance. Its not just a one-time thing is what I'm trying to say.


What IS Abiogenisis?

Abiogenisis happens when the twin gods, (the people who control the game)
make random stuff happen, but it may be announced in the forum. They can make giant candles surround the forest, pool parties, fog, fireworks, and MANY more outrageous stuff happen.

When does Abiogenisis happen?

At random times, or on holidays like Holloween, Christmas, etc.

Action buttons and what they do.

= Sit Make your deer lie down once in a while. Not because he gets tired but because it looks so decorative.
= Stand Up
If it is time to go roaming the forest, you'll need to stand up first.
= Roar Get attention. Wake up the sleepers or call to those that are running around.
= Listen Listen carefully and the name pictograms of other players will be easier to recognize.
= Drink Just the thing to get your strength back up after a long deer-day of not doing much of anything.
= Eat Though it's not really required for a virtual being, sometimes eating has its advantages.
= Rub a Tree No need to wait for an itch. Just rub a tree. It feels good
= Eat from Tree On some trees a special kind of mushrooms grow. So yummy!...
= Pick Up Flowers And carry them on your antlers. Or give them to somebody else.
= Sniff Be polite. Greet your neighbours.
= Show Affection/NuzzleBecause there's some deer you just like more than others.
