How old is knights of the old republic

The setting in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (also, KOTOR) is placed about 4,000 years before the rise of the Galactic Empire (Ex; Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi Order), also about two years after the Mandalorian War.

The original game was released for Xbox on July 15, 2003, and for Microsoft Windows on September 7, 2004. The PC version was re-released as part of Star Wars: The Best of PC collection in 2006 as a limited release.
