Does Axel love Roxas

Here is your true answer without opinions like 'Axel loves Larxene' getting in the way- the fact of Axel loving Roxas has never been stated. In the game they are friends, and that is all that is stated. But thereis an obvious possibility because Axel says things like "He was the ONLY ONe I liked. He made me feel like I had a heart" and when Roxas said he was leaving and nobody would miss him Axel said "That's not true!.....I would...." So it's up to you, what do YOU think. Don't listen to that person below me, Axel and Larxene had a negative relationship. And neither Roxas nor Axel had an ESTABLISHED 'love' in the game. Nomura left the shipping to the fans
No Axel and Roxas are friends. Roxas and Axel don't have love interests for each other. It's fan fiction. There are Axel x Roxas pictures but they are made by fans. Axel loves Larxene who is female. It is possible that Roxas might love Namine.
Well, I for one think it's possible. Axel and Roxas seem to share a very close relationship. I believe they could be in love. Roxas and Namine barely see each other, and when they do it is brief. They just seem like friends. As do Roxas and Axel, but they seem closer, and maybe even in love. Also, Axel and Larxene seem to hate each other.

Axel x Roxas is a fanon pairing; there is nothing within this story to support this idea. Nomura's comment(that the player is free to interpret) isn't saying that Axel and Roxas are gay; he's saying you are free to think whatever you want, not that SE and Nomura don't have their own answer. Case in point? Final Fantasy VII's love triangle. They constantly say that you are free to interpret everything how you like, but have given subtle, but definite answers(they even said that they have not left anything unanswered). It's all about keeping things vague and generating interest. Besides, Nomura flat out lied in a KH interview; he said that there was no connection whatsoever between Kairi and Namine. Nuff said?
Bottom line, Axel and Roxas are, and have only ever been shown to be best friends. THAT is their connection.

Wow, fans are so civilized now a days o_O To put it bluntly, there is no right OR wrong answer to that question. Tetsuya has an AMAZING mind and his stories are so complex yet so simple. He's one of those awesome artists who lets his fans' minds wander to wherever it pleases (as previously stated by many). That's the brilliance of his games. So for the "Axel and Roxas are ONLY friends" crowd can have their moment of relief. And the "Roxas and Axel are TOTALLY in love with each other" should be equally accepted too. I personally like their friendship AND suggested romance. Their close bond is what does it for me.
