Is assassins creed the movie coming out in 2010

Well,there is a Assasin's Creed Linage in youtube...though,no news about a movie..I think Christian Bale is perfect for the role of Altair......





There is a rumor, also, of a live-action movie based off of the first game that will be in post production by July 2010 and ready for release into theaters by March 2011. Though any information reguarding the eliged film is extremely difficult to find, it was confirmed that actor Christian Bale (Batman Bigins, The Dark Knight) had been looking into a role that involved playing as an assassin over the span of around 900 years. If this is true, it means he be playing a reoccuring role as Altair, Ezio, and Desmond in what will more then likely be multiple movies since Ubisoft (creators of the Assassin's Creed games as well as The Prince of Persia: Sand of Time video game trilogy that has a movie adaptation set to hit theaters in May 2010) has yet to decide if the Assassin's Creed franchise should be a trilogy or if the protagonist Desmond Miles needs some more character development with turning the game series into 4 or possibly 5 games total before a new chapter is written with a new protagonist.

David Belle would pwn in so much ways 1, he has the accent 2, he can do Le Parkour (which is the bomb) 3, he kinda looks like him / i totally agree with David Belle


David Belle is would be a great Desmond, Wenthworth Miller from Prison Break would be absolutley perfect for Altair. Not sure about Ezio though

I like the idea of Christian Bale, Kristen Bell obviously to play Lucy, and I reckon Jeff Bridges to play either Al Mualim or Dr. Vidic, probably Vidic so he can return in later movies, Mark Wahlberg wouldn't be half bad for Altair/Desmond but think about it guys, one person would be suitable to play Altair AND Ezio in a sequel, because in the games they look pretty alike, my only hope is that they get a GOOD director and put a GOOD amount of money into it, so it doesn't totally ruin things like Prince of Persia and The Last Airbender. I might have athink and earch other people who would be suitable for Altair/Desmond/Ezio. Also having Simon from American Idol would be hilarious for Shaun Hastings, but I don't think he could pull it off. Zoey Deschanel maybe for Rebecca.

Also, I just searched David Belle and it looks like he doesn't really have acting experience, if they just throw him into a movie, it can really ruin it, like Noah Ringer and the other bad actors in The Last Airbender.

Simon Cowell as Shaun?

I don't personally think Simon will pull it off, Shaun is literally based off from Danny Wallace, like Lucy is based on Kristen Bell. I agree there should be good director, good money and a good plot. I am not so sure on whos to be Altair/Ezio/Desmond but it should be someone who enjoys acting especially if it is going to be reoccuring. Who came to mind just now is actually the voice actor of Ezio (Roger Craig Smith) >.<;; That was a random selection.

Jeff Bridges does seem to be able to pull of Vidic though but strangely not Al Mualim. Actors who were used to base the characters are considered to be used Romani Orsi (Giovanni) Kristen Bell (Lucy) Danny Wallace etc. but not the model I forget his name
