How in the world do you use the mini cooper bluetooth feature

When I bought my 2007 in January 2008, the salesman that did the delivery walk-through told me the bluetooth functions do not currently work on any 2007s and will not work on the 2008s.

He suspected BMW would release an upgrade kit . . . rather, he said the demand for this feature will force BMW to do something.

I'm a little worried about putting all those boxes and wires under the hood of my Mini, but this is the only one I've found that makes the bluethooth in the car work (or so they claim). All the other ones don't use the steering wheel buttons. mwill1993 says...I just bought my 2008 Mini with bluetooth and my blackberry works wonderfully - complete phone book is displayed on the dash and is just perfect. Reception is better than just holding the phone to my ear.
