Will there be a Xenosaga 4

Hopefully, but 3 made it look as an ending. Unless ;)


Seems rather cruel to the fans the way they did it. The ending of 3 was wonderful, tied up many loose ends, but also rather blatantly setup for the plot of the next sequel. Not only do people want to know how the story ends, but also the game mechanics were very unique and popular. It was a rare gem for those of us who enjoy a very in-depth, well written story in an RPG, as opposed to the generic "You must find the seven rings of Shikimiotokomishuti or else the perceived world will darken" filler plots.
To answer the question, nobody seems to know. The makers have been very ambiguous about it. This could indicate either that there have been too many changes at the company and they just don't have any respect for their fans, or that they're already working on the next sequel and this kind of speculation is good for future sales.
Either way, if anyone tells you there won't be for sure, or there will be for sure, they're full of crap. Don't listen to them. The only people who could know are the makers of the game, and they ain't talkin'.


Guess what,Xenosaga 4 is already out,its called Xenogears,been out for 12ish years or so,PS1 game,and yes it is the sequel to xenosaga 1-3,when they 1st announced the Xenosaga series,they told us it was gonna be a 6game series,it got knocked dwn to 3=(,and that it is the prequels to Xenogears,main charactors are Abel and Mary,grown up versions ofc,and with dif names,Abel=Fei,Mary=Elly,Citan=Jin,oh btw XENOGEARS was made by Squaresoft
