Get the Virus Battler card from the blackboard in room 1-2. Pay the red "punk" Navi 2000 Z to get it. Get some viruses using the instructions he gives you (or use the 2 you start with, good luck with that) and take on the odd-colored Mr. Prog in the robo-dog outside of Asterland. After winning, take on the Mr. Prog in the water machine (up and right of the mermaid fountain out by the aquarium) and win. Next, take on the Mr. Prog in the electric chair in the courthouse and win against him. Finally, every subsequent time you win a Virus Battle against the Mr. Prog in Ol' Sparky, you will receive either 1500Z or 6 BugFrags. With the right Viruses at your disposal, you will waste him with ease.


You can also follow through to the Mr. Prog in the O2 tanks at the weather station and then the final Mr. Prog in Central Area 1 to receive Super Vulcan V.
