How do you get away from malaria on far cry 2

You cant.... You will have it through the entire game, there are levels of sickness that vary the amount of time between each attack, level 5 being the sickest. Even on level 0 you will still need pills. Keep in mind that it will never "kill" you, just make you black out and awaken in the town centre.
