There is no legal method of downloading ROMS of any commercial game (aka any game you'd want to play) onto a stand-alone emulator. Some game services like GameTap integrate emulators into their product so that you can play games you have purchased through their service. The Wii Virtual Console also includes various emulators, through which you can purchase classic games to play.
