Who are the best cheap signings on championship manager 2008

Vincent Kompany and Luka Modric. Also, Aaron Ramsey is immense and can be signed for just 150,000 in the first season. If you have a strict budget then I strongly recommend signing Aaron Mclean, he is with Peterborough and can be signed for around £400,000 and he is premiership standard at least.
If you are looking for a fantastic young goalkeeper then try Manuel Neuer or Toni Kroos. A fantastic midfielder for a few million is Javi Martinez (he is young and highly rated in the stats)
Also Aiden McGeady at Celtic, about 11M-13M, best player on the game. And Mauro Zarate is class but is always homesick. For a free transfer you could get Savo Milosevic, who is very good, Favio Conceio ( bad spelling ) ohh 1 last player called something like Maximo Moralez, who is ace!
Two young future wonders are John Bostock + Victor Moses. They both play for Crystal Palace and can be "approached to sign" in the first season. Give these players time and they will be top class players at aged +20.
Bojan for Barca is 9mill at start but will be worth it through goals and also rise in value to +25mill.
Lulinha is also a fantastic buy you can get him for around 1M and he will be top goal scorer in 2nd and 3rd season.
E. Davids is worth signing even though he is about 34 at the start, he will play well in a DM role and usually average over 7 rating. Also Diop from Portsmouth is worth signing, he is 30, but has a high average rating too.
Kevin Doyle is always a good signing and is usually top goal scorer of the prem along with John Carew (who is also worth signing).
For defenders i would say G. Bale from spurs is a good signing and C. Davis from West Brom is good because he is cheap for his stats.
