Why the random dead bodies in fable 3

The "random dead bodies" are all of the people who died after the war. If you had saved up enough gold in your kingdom, they would not have died. It's hard to see, but in the loading screen there is information that tells you how many casualties you would have at that point if you were to go ahead and beat the game before saving up enough gold (not in your own treasury, but in the castle's). The more you let people die after the war, the less functional the game will be for you - for example, you may not be able to adopt a child from the orphanage because the lady who usually stands up there with the kids while you pick one out is dead.
