How can I play GameCube Animal Crossing GameCube in French on my US system

In not really positive on this...but i think when you start the GC, and hold A, theres a language section in the menu...that's the only way I would think of it working...
If theres not a language setting in the GC menu, then you can't.
(sorry, I haven't played my GC in a while...)
