What is Organization XIII

Organization XIII is a group of Nobodies from the video game called Kingdom Hearts II (as well as Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for Gameboy Advanced). They don't have hearts, so they spend most of their existence trying to take a heart from many of the other people who do. Their main enemy is the main protagonist, Sora. The members of Organization XIII (13), are in this order: Xemnas (The Superior), Xigbar (The Freeshooter), Xaldin (The Whirlwind Lancer), Vexen (The Chilly Academic, only appears in Chain of Memories), Lexaeus (The Silent Hero, only appears in Chain of Memories), Zexion (The Cloaked Schemer, only appears in Chain of Memories), Saïx (The Luna Diviner), Axel (The Flurry of Dancing Flames), Demyx (The Melodious Nocturne), Luxord (The Gambler of Fate), Marluxia (The Graceful Assassin, only appears in Chain of Memories), Larxene (The Savage Nymph, only appears in Chain of Memories), and finally Roxas (The Key of Destiny). The group consists of mainly male, with the exception of Larxene and Naminé (Naminé is Kairi's shadow). Each Nobody once had a Somebody, and their name is their Somebody's name jumbled with an "X" added to it. For example, since Roxas is Sora's Nobody, Roxas is simply Sora mixed around with an "X" placed in the center. Organization XIII has a lot of fandom throughout the world.
