How do you get out of the spaceship on a planet in space stage in spore

You will need to unlock one of the main tools. If you go to your collections you will find more informations. I have it but i never use it because: 1) You move really slow.
2) You can't fly (if you could before)
and 3)Every single creature will run away from you.
