How do you turn on wi-fi for Nintendo

If you have a game for the NDS and it has a wifi connection sign on the case( a blue circle with wi-fi mark on it) then look for a setting that talks about the wi fi connection. if you want to download stuff then in the main ds menu tap in ds download play ( if the function of the ds is on manual)
