Does video games effect your grades

It all depends on what kind of personality and what kind of mental state you have. People who are more into video games and treat them as real life that could effect the marks of anyone in a negative way, on the other hand certain people have the will to not let video games consume they're entire lives. Sometimes though, games actually have a positive effect on grades, in fact certain games teach about certain events that took place in history or maybe even require mathematics without even knowing it. If you want to get scientific also, it has been proven that video games build brain skills that allow you to make better decisions in real life and react to them better, it has also been said that you have better hand eye coordination which could make a game player a lot more able to handle sports such as football. If you are worried about your grades, I wouldn't think about it to much unless you're letting it consume time you should be using to do other things, most people who play video games are actually more knowledgeable than non game players, trust me I know, I'm a gamer myself.
