Who is miles edgeworth

Miles Edgeworth is Phoenix Wright's Rival in court and childhood friend.
He is a prosecutor and apears in all the Ace Attonery games, Edgeworth also has his own game well known as 'Gyakuten Kenji' which translates into 'Turnabout Prosecutor' in English. The game Edgeworth stars in Is also known as Ace Attonery Investigations.
