When is half life 3 coming out

I understand your plight, im also a valve fan and their is nothing more satifying thatn headcrab sniping to windup an afternoon :P!
It is coming out (so says valve) but it may not be for a few years. From their official explaination their being very secretive over it in order to perfect the videogame.
