Is playing video games a sin

I wouldn't consider playing a video game a sin, but that doesn't mean it isn't. I can't remember ever reading anything in the Bible about video games or that could have been referring to them. (Of course, they would not be mentioned by name since they didn't have video games when the Bible was written). I suppose it could be if you play certain games. For example, playing something with an E for Everyone rating would not be considered one by most people. (I say most people because some people do believe that electricity and devices that use electricity are worldly and evil. The Amish are one of these groups). However, some M for Mature or A for Adult promote very sinful behavior. I think it would be a good idea to pray and follow your conscience on this one. According to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFLba3GNV70 ALL video games are sinful along with worldly movies, series, anime etc. These are considered "earthly", "mammon" etc. So perhaps it is sinful.
