Where is the best place for a video game designer live

I would say somewhere in the mountains. Somewhere peaceful and natural. I say this because lots of gaming developers live there becuase they come up with ideas based on nature/animals. Such as Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Banjo-Kazooie (Both Bears), etc. So ideas for video games can come to mind when studying and relating to animals.
